I spent a decade of my career behind the screen and armed with my inbox as a PR Maven, but Iโ€™ve always had my foot in the door, freelancing as a writer. I dove straight into the world of PR for lifestyle CPG brands and business experts. I learned to manage social media accounts, copywrite, manage brand marketing campaigns, and cultivate the voice of boutique brands.

I contributed to many online publications like Forbes, Fast Company, Brit + Co., The Washington Post, Ladders, The Spruce, Yahoo! Life, Insider, The Miami Herald, and more. I was also an Editorial Assistant at the now-defunct creative lifestyle blog, the Glitter Guide, where I initially leaped into commerce writing and never looked back.

Iโ€™ve been beauty and fashion-obsessed since I was a child, waiting impatiently outside of my 7/11 every first of the month to get my hands on the newest issues of Teen Vogue, Cosmo Girl, Seventeen, Elle Girl, and Jane Magazine. I devoured content and created my own before I even knew what I was doing.

After my internship at Harperโ€™s Bazaar, I knew the magazine industry was for me. Now, Iโ€™ve slathered and rigorously tested thousands of products, from the most innovative anti-aging creams to multifunctional aluminum pans, and I report on my experiences through shoppable stories and reviews on Real Simple, Southern Living, and Better Homes & Gardens as a commerce writer.
