Ace & Jig Gives Pure Pattern Play For AW16
Autumn Winter 2016 collection. Select pieces from the collection were a collaboration between the label and designer Milena Silvano. Known as a “textile love story“, the brand is not shy about mixing and matching varying prints and textures to create a one-of-a-kind look that can be copied straight out of their shoots, or added into an already busy wardrobe. Based in Brooklyn, New York, the combined tastes of antique textile effects developed from the genius minds designers of Cary Vaughan and Jenna Wilson. Their love of wild and fun textiles drove them to manufacture their textiles in India. Even in an Autumn Winter collection, Ace&Jig doesn’t miss the opportunity to slip in splendid hues from amber yellow to vibrant red. Each piece adds a nod toward more vintage silhouettes in modern patterns. Like Ace & Jig, Behno seems to be redefining what exactly ‘made in India’ means.
